Voxzly Community Guidelines

Effective Date: November 09, 2025

At Voxzly, we believe in fostering a vibrant, authentic space for people to share audio rants, discussions, and stories—whether it's a passionate rant on politics, a funny confession, or helpful advice. Our platform thrives on open expression, but that comes with responsibility. These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") outline what we expect from users to keep Voxzly safe, respectful, and inclusive for everyone.

By using Voxzly (the "Service"), you agree to these Guidelines. We may update them to reflect evolving community needs or legal requirements—check back periodically. Violations can result in content removal, account restrictions, or termination. We enforce these fairly but firmly, using a combination of human moderators, automated tools (e.g., transcript censorship for sensitive language), and user reports.

If you see something that breaks these rules, report it via the in-app flag or support@voxzly.com. Your feedback helps us improve.

Our Expectations: Be Real, Be Respectful

Voxzly is a place for genuine voices. We encourage bold opinions, creative rants, and honest conversations, but always with empathy. Key principles:

We aim for transparency: We'll explain actions (e.g., "Post removed for harassment") and provide appeal options.

Prohibited Content and Behavior

Don't post or engage in anything that harms others, breaks laws, or disrupts the community. Examples include:

1. Hate Speech and Discrimination

No attacks based on protected characteristics (e.g., race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age).

Prohibited: Slurs, stereotypes, or calls to exclude/harm groups. (E.g., "All [group] are [derogatory term]" in a rant.)

Why? Creates fear; we want Voxzly to amplify voices, not silence them.

2. Harassment and Bullying

No targeted abuse, threats, doxxing, or stalking (e.g., repeated unwanted replies, sharing private info).

Prohibited: Trolling, dogpiling (mass-reporting or piling on), or revenge posting.

Audio-Specific: No non-consensual recordings of others without permission; no impersonating voices/profiles.

Why? Everyone deserves a safe space to rant without fear.

3. Violence and Threats

No glorifying, inciting, or planning violence, terrorism, or self-harm.

Prohibited: Graphic threats, calls to action against individuals/groups, or promoting weapons/illegal acts.

Rants Exception: Passionate opinions are OK (e.g., "This policy is outrageous"), but not "I want to hurt [person/group]."

Why? Safety first—we report credible threats to authorities.

4. Illegal or Harmful Content

No child exploitation, non-consensual intimate images ("revenge porn"), or illegal drugs/activities.

Prohibited: Spam, scams (e.g., fake giveaways or promotions), phishing, or malware links.

Audio-Specific: No copyrighted music/samples without rights; no deepfakes or manipulated audio to deceive.

Why? We comply with laws like COPPA (no under-13s) and DMCA (report IP infringement).

5. Misinformation and Manipulation

No deliberate falsehoods that could harm (e.g., health scams, election interference).

Prohibited: Coordinated inauthentic behavior (e.g., bot farms, paid rants).

Categories like "Rants" or "Politics": Opinions OK, but label satire if unclear.

Why? Trust is key—label or correct misinformation when reported.

6. Spam and Abuse of Features

No excessive posting, duplicate content, or gaming engagement (e.g., fake likes, follows, or reports).

Prohibited: Commercial spam (unless in ads), off-topic floods, or evading bans (new accounts to harass).

Why? Keeps feeds fresh and fair.

7. Privacy Violations

No sharing others' personal info without consent.

Location: Use only for in-app features (e.g., local feeds); we don't track off-platform.

Why? Respect boundaries—your geo-data helps connect locals, not stalk.

Enforcement and Moderation

We take reports seriously:

How We Act: Review context (audio/transcript), remove violating content, warn users, or suspend/ban accounts. First offense: Warning/removal; repeats: Escalation.

Automated Tools: AI flags sensitive language in transcripts (e.g., slurs auto-***ed); VPN checks for abuse.

Human Review: Moderators (us + trusted volunteers) handle nuances.

Transparency: We publish aggregate enforcement stats quarterly; appeals get a response within 48 hours.

Zero Tolerance: For severe violations (e.g., threats to minors), immediate ban + law enforcement report.

Appeals and Support

Appeal removals/bans via in-app form or appeals@voxzly.com (include post ID, your side).

We'll review fairly; decisions final but reversible if new info emerges.

Questions? community@voxzly.com.

Changes to These Guidelines

We'll notify via email/app or post updates here. Continued use = acceptance. For legal notices, see our Terms of Service.

Thank you for making Voxzly a bold, better place. Rant responsibly! 🎙️
